Suggestions needed for playtime

Hi everyone. My babies are 2 months old and I wanted some suggestions for tummy/floor time. They really don't like tummy time, but I really need to change that.

My LOs really hated tummy time....DS really didn't even start TOLERATING it until probably 6 months. DD liked it a little more though. When they were about two months I started using my floor playmat a ton....and they both really enjoyed it. I had the Baby Einstein Neptune (i think that's what it's called). You can also use boppys to prop them on their stomachs...this helped my DS tolerate tummy time a little more.

I felt the same way as you when my babies were 2 months....it's hard because you really can't do too much with babies that young. Before long, your babies will love tummy time and will be crawling all over the place....you just have to stick with it.

Ditto what PP said.  I would sometimes bring them both to my bed and put them on their tummies facing each other with LOTS of toys around them and a mirror for them to look at.  They hated tummy time until they were about 4 months.

2 months is so hard because there isn't much that they do and you feel like you should be doing something with them.  Sometimes I would put them in the bouncy by my sliding glass door, which faces out to my backyard and let them look outside and it entertained them for a little while.
