Cerclage Removal

Yay! 37 weeks today, full term and got my cerclage removed. The speculum hurt a bit. I could feel it when she tugged on it to snip it. I had a tiny bit of bleeding but other than that it really wasn't bad.

That is so good to know, hoping mine is as easy as yours!! How long did you have yours in place, if you don't mind me asking ??

That's great! I'm 33 weeks and having mine removed in 4 weeks.  I'm nervous about it being taken out but you have reassured me!  Good luck with the rest of your pregnancy!!!!

I just had an emergency one done at 23 weeks.  Doc hopes to be able to remove it in 12 weeks. I am carrying twins. Were you put on bedrest, I have been put on for the remaining of my pregnancy.  Good luck!

I had the same symptoms, the speculum hurt a little, but I was amazed at how tiny that string was!! I got mine removed at 36weeks.  Here I am..almost 39weeks...and dilated to 4cm and 100%..could be anyday! I am scheduled on Wed for an induction if I make it til then!

At 36 and 37 weeks, I was only 1cm and 80%..then in 5 days I went to 4cm.
