Well, it was violating his parole for MURDER that got him the life sentence. And honestly, I agree with it. He's a repeat offender who clearly has no regard for the law (any of them) so I think he's had his chance.
Yeah, he'd probably just keep breaking the law. If he wanted to stay free, he should have obeyed the law. I don't feel sorry for him at all. It's like in California--3 strikes and you're out with life in prision. Whether it's murder or robbery. It doesn't matter.

he was out on parole. he was a convicted murderer.
he got what he deserved.
