Well, it was violating his parole for MURDER that got him the life sentence. And honestly, I agree with it. He's a repeat offender who clearly has no regard for the law (any of them) so I think he's had his chance.

he was out on parole.  he was a convicted murderer. 

he got what he deserved.

Yeah, he'd probably just keep breaking the law. If he wanted to stay free, he should have obeyed the law. I don't feel sorry for him at all. It's like in California--3 strikes and you're out with life in prision. Whether it's murder or robbery. It doesn't matter.

also CDs are not bread. No desperate need.  If he was stealing food because he was hungry I'd have a different opinion.

Now if he was OFF parole and they brought it up that would not be right. But he violated his parole.

I'd have more of a problem with a convicted murderer being out on parole in the first place.
