out in the shed(maybe "lean to" is a better word, it is only 3 walls + roof)
Poor little guy, mama kitty wants nothing to do with him & we can't find any of the other babies. We tried feeding him some formula(lol) but he doesn't eat very well.
You should call a local vet. He won't live without his mom. You need to get a dropper and some kitty milk for him, or see if there is a vet that will take him in.
We had 4 kitties that looked EXACTLY like that, and the guys at work made the mistake of picking them up and moving them. Mom never came back. We rescued them, but they still didn't make it.
awww... do you have kitten bottles to feed with? maybe call a vet in the area and see if they can help out. There is specific kitten replacement formula, about 32 cc/day divided into 9-12 feedings. About every 2 hours...GL. It looks very young and will need alot of help. They also need to be burped and stimulated for elimination as a mother cat would do.
We have had to raise baby kittens before because their mom got ran over. We had 7 of them! We used little bottles and milk designed for them (I think we got it at Petsmart). Its just like having a newborn - you have to get up at all hours of the night to feed them. Its worth it though.
One other time, a mom abandoned her baby, and we tried to keep him alive, but he died It was very sad, but I think the mom abandoned him because there was something wrong.
I agree about calling a vet. They can tell you what to do next. You also have to keep them warm. The vet can also tell you how to do that.

Call a vet!!
Poor little guy. Do you have a medicine dropper to feed him? I'd also call the vet to ask what's best to feed him - formula, regular cow's milk, etc.
Edit: I didn't even know you could buy kitten milk.
I thought when the mom wants nothing to do with a kitten it's b/c there is something wrong, you should definitely take it to the vet.
Adorable, makes me want to get one myself. DH is not an animal person though.
I hate to jump on you, but he really needs a vet. More than the kitten milk. We tried that, and it didn't work.
He won't make it. He's way, way too small. I would bet only a few weeks old if that.
Actually I don't think he's more than a week old. Yesterday was the first day we saw/heard him & we feed the cats every day.
That is probably right. His eyes aren't open yet.
Poor buddy.
