My Poor DH - Putting Ella to Bed

My DH put Ella to bed for the 1st time last night b/c I wanted to go to yoga and wouldn't be back in time.  I felt kind of bad / guilty to begin with, but I figure - hey - he's gotta be able to put her to bed or I'm screwed.  So to make a long story short - It didn't go so well - she took her bottle ok though, but then proceeded to cry for the next 30 minutes and then threw up on him.  After she threw up, she fell fast asleep though.  I really felt bad for him - he was upset that he couldn't soothe her.  I guess my lesson learned is to give him more opportunities to put her to bed.
