Baptising 3 & 1 yr old. What do they wear?

No flames please; a lot has happened in our lives and we're just now having the time to baptise my 2 sons.  What do they wear? The pastor said they usually wear white.  We're not catholic, the church is lutheran.  The pastor was really great when we met with him and has done older children and even adults.

I'd probably do khakis and white polos or button downs. I suppose you could try to find white shorts or pants, too, but my DS would have those stained in no time.

Don't worry, we haven't gotten DS baptised yet, either.

We are lutheran.  I would think that a nice pair of dress pants & a light colored shirt & tie would be fine, even a polo shirt. Just something nice that would look good in a family pic.

My three year olds and 16 month old are all being baptized this weekend.  I found a really cute, summery pair of linen khaki pants and a button up white linen shirt at Janie and Jack for my older son.  DD is wearing a white linen dress from there.  The baby is wearing one of the more traditional little white satin suits that a friend loaned us.  I was going to dress him like the other two, but this was free and he does look pretty cute in it.

Thanks ladies! Part of me feels horrible for having not done it yet but after sitting down with the pastor and discussing it I am starting to feel less guilty.  I was thinking the dress pants and white shirts like most of you.
