Others with ~4 mth olds?

Just curious. ?I am down in South Austin and wondering if there are others with LOs around DS's age. ?If so what are you up to? ?What are you doing with your LO all day? ?It's so freaking hot, I feel like we are barely leaving the house lately. : )

DD is 15 weeks, so a few weeks from 4 months. I work full time so she spends all day in daycare. In the evenings she spends time in her jumperoo and bumbo and we just hang out and play on the floor and do tummy time, etc. We take her everywhere with us..grocery shopping, out to eat, etc.

DS just turned 5 months old this past week. I am home with him all day.  I take him for walks (pretty early in the morning) he hangs out in his jumper, in his bumbo seat, I hold him and I talk to him and tickle him.

My LO is almost 4mths.  He's in daycare all day but at night we talk to each other, he loves to talk.  He loves his activity mat and I just started putting him in his exersaucer.  Also he stays on his tummy longer now to play although he can roll from tummy to back.  I really only have about 2-3 hrs at night with him before it's bedtime so we usually just play.  On the weekends we goes where ever we go.  He's very social and loves to smile/laugh.

my boys play on their mats for some time, then we do tummy time, sit in the bumbo, play in the exersaucer/jumperoo, I read a lot to them.  they spend a limited amount of time in swings/bouncers.  eat, chat, sing, dance and at my husband's insistence, we do flash cards  **eye roll**

 

when I want to get us out, we go to Target or Hobby Lobby.  Not too much outside though.

The twins are so cute! ?Yes we do those things too. ?I'm a SAHM for summer break until school starts back in August. ?I'm a teacher. ?I guess I just get bored sometimes since we do the same things all day every day. ?He doesn't seem to mind of course. ?: )

We hang out out and play, but it's nice to get out of the house from time to time. You should come to a NB GTG. They're on Tuesday afternoons. It's a great opportunity to socialize with other moms with babies around the same age. I look forward to it every week. DD loves to be out and about because there are so many things to look at. In addition to the NB GTG, we go on a lot of lunch dates. It drives DH crazy. Let me know if you want to do lunch sometime. I'm north, but I could meet you central.

My dd just turned 4 months and we also live south (Westgate). We get out at least once per day, it is hot but it is so nice to walk around and dd loves to people watch

Today we spent most of the afternoon at the mall, we did some window shopping and had lunch. I think I am going to start a class at gymboree soon as well.

If you ever want to get together for lunch or just to get out let me know.
