I feel horrible, my 2 week old had a red bum =(......I assume it is something I ate?

I have and am using butt paste......is this a good choice?

Re: diaper rash cream?

  • Worked for us and we only had to use it once or twice!

  • I highly reccommend calmoseptine. It was rec by my pedi & its found either at the pharmacy or around the pharmacy area. It works wonders. I have tried almost every diaper cream out there & nothing compares. Honestly, you won't regret trying it.

  • My LO had a red chapped raw bum.  It was awful and I felt horrible but i bottle feed so i didn't do it.  The Ped. gave us calmoseptine cream that helped a lot and now i'm using the butt paste cause it started to come back and it has worked great!

  • Burt's Bees diaper ointment worked for us.. She only had it once, right when we got home from the hospital, and it cleared up right away.
  • I love Aquaphor. My LO always had a red bum until I eliminated dairy and soy. If he were FF it would have been even worse.
  • Butt paste is good! We had a pretty bad stint recently and used Triple Paste. I use Balmex for your run of the mill diaper rash, Butt Paste for something slightly escalated, and the Triple Paste for the more persistent variety diaper rash! :)

  • Butt paste never worked very well for DS. We use desitin.
