Thanks for your response to my earlier post.  I'm homozygous for a1298c, and hetrozygous for Factor V.

How is the lovenox?  Any side effects? Also when do you start taking it, when you find out that you are pg or earlier in the cycle? Sorry for all of the questions but I don't meet with the RE about it for a couple of weeks.

Also thanks for the tip on morpholgy.  We got a list of vitamins from the RE so we'll see how those help. I started taking Folgard and am bummed because it isn't covered by my insurance.

*Disclaimer* I just went back and reread my original answer to you and need to clarify what I said.  I will be using lovenox due to blood clotting issues if I try IVF again.  I have not used it yet. I am going to go back and edit my response. Sorry!

My friend used lovenox last year for her IVF.  My responses are based upon her experience and from advice/direction from my RE.

The lovenox causes a lot of bruising. It is injectible into the stomach region.

For IVF cycle, you start lovenox on CD6 and continue up to 2 days before retrieval.  Take a break until transfer.  After transfer, start lovenox again next day and continue until beta.

I do know that some Ob-GYN/RE's that will not prescribe it until you get a + pregnancy test so there are differing opinions out there.

Unfortunately, I don't know how you would use it in a natural cycle.

There is another website www.ivfconnections.net and they have a sub-board for immune issues.  I would suggest checking there for more information MTHFR, Factor V, and lovenox.
