TMI - could this really be my period?

I seriously don't know what to make of this.  I stopped PP bleeding a little over a week ago.  This morning I have had bloody mucus for lack of a better way to descibe it. (Im sorry I told you it was TMI).  I am wondering if this could be my period or if it is still PP stuff?  Anyone else had this?  I am only BF so I would be bummed if this was my period.

this is was happened to me it was like just one huge slimmy bloody thing of mucus... and the next day i started my period. but i am not BF

My guess is PP bleeding.  It never seems to end.  I don't think mine fully went away until 6-7 weeks PP.

asked my doc about it today and she said it was PP bleeding that i had.  she also said you can get some spotting while breastfeeding but when your period returns it is heavy usually
