i had my dilation this morning and it hurt like a B^$c&!!!! I really wish I had taken the meds sooner b/c i didn't really feel much different - then they took affect much after it was done.
Dr Parks did the dilation and he said he had to puncture through what he thinks was scar tissue. He said it was highly uncommon to have scar tissue on the cervix if you have never had any type of pelvic infection and/or previous surgeries or procedures. Although it hurt, once it was done, it was just some mild cramps.
I was THRILLED that they were able to get me back over to rex to re-do the HSG instead of making me wait and go through another day of all of this tomorrow.
I had the HSG and the doc said that the catheter when through the cervix without any trouble
My uterus and tubes looks perfect he said.
So we meet again on Tuesday to discuss the plan from here. Another step in the journey that feels as if it isn't ever going to end....
thanks for the support - you ladies are wonderful!
