Up until a couple of days ago, DS was starting to establish somewhat of a schedule and eating 3 1/2oz every 3 hours or so and falling asleep at night and during naps pretty easily and in a normal 1-2 our window (i.e. nap between 10:30-12, again between 1:30-2, and at night between 7:30-9). Now, all of a sudden, he won't completely finish a bottle and wants more to eat about an hour or so later. So he's eating smaller amounts now, but eating all the time. And he can't fall asleep and sleeps for about an hour after going down for a nap. He's crying so much and it's driving me a little crazy. Am I alone in this or does anyone have any advice? TIA!

no, he's not in pain. he just eats the first 2 oz or so and then doesn't want the bottle again after we finish burping. but then he wants a bottle about an hour later, eats a little, and then wants it again in another hour. each of those feedings is approximately an ounce. so, his intake is still ok, he just wants smaller amounts more frequently. this is also causing him not to sleep well and cry all the time even when he's not hungry.
It's possible he's becoming more aware of his surroundings, so once his initial hunger is met, he would rather look around or play than eat. Try feeding him in a quiet, dark place and see if that helps.
