i feel like i'm doing this wrong.  roo only likes to be in it if she's sleeping which doesn't last long.  i'm wrapping it correctly but i can't seem to get her to like being in it.  any pointers?  or maybe its just normal for this age?  i'm dreaming of getting things done around the house...

Which carry do you use?  Do you move a lot to help her settle?

this, DD liked it when she was little to sleep in (b.c otherwise  would have had to put her down)

I have a Baby K'tan & DH has a Hotsling. We've found that DS likes to look around at first, so we sit him a bit more upright than a normal cradle type position so his head is sticking out a bit. Usually he'll fall asleep in about 2-3 minutes after that. He's got pretty good head control though, so he's able to sit like this. DS fights naps like no one's business, so this is the only way we can get him in the sling, b/c he knows it will put him to sleep.

Keep trying. DD fussed at first when I put her in the moby, but then she started to love it. She was literally in it all day from about 4-8 weeks except for when she was eating. Ditto PP suggestion to move a lot when you first put her in - DD's favorite is to go in the moby, hug hold, and then bounce on the exercise ball. We still do that when she's fussy or crying because of teething pain - calms her down every tim.

How long are you giving your baby to "like" it? Sometimes it takes a few minutes for DS to settle down. You might also try a few different holds.
