Try lying down while nursing.  At least your body will get a little rest and it might intice your little one to sleep.

like pick up put down? I have to do this with DD now because she was only sleeping while being held and would fling her eyes open the second we layed her down. It takes a while but they catch on, even at 3 months old. Not sure if this is what's going on with your LO or not but I wasn't getting any sleep because of her not wanting to be put down. The pick up put down is working well so far and caught on fairly quickly.

ugh. That sucks. What time does your SO get home?  I think you need a night off...
