2 month appt. wasn't so bad!

We're back from Jack's 2 month appt. and it wasn't bad at all. I was expecting the worst, so I feel very relieved. He did great when the doctor examined him (smiling and cooing - he's a bit of a flirt) and only cried one really loud cry when they gave him the shots. He's been sleeping ever since - hopefully this will continue and he won't wake up screaming later.

We're lucky to have a healthy baby on our hands! He weighed 12.1 lbs. (55th percentile) and was 23.25 in. long (70th perc.) The doctor said his neck control was closer to that of a 4 month old!

I am glad it went well! We have ours on Tuesday and I am not looking forward to the shots.

That is awesome that every thing is well and your LO is thriving!! I thought the shots weren't that bad either.

I found it a lot easier to cope with if I just focused on DD's face and didn't watch them do the shots in her legs.  I looked when they were done and I could pick up my baby and comfort her.  It wasn't too bad.

Glad it went well and he is just sleeping and not too miserable.  It's hard to watch them get the shots and cry
