I worked a 16 hour shift yesterday/last night and just got home from work. Dh and ds usually watch a new Star Wars movie together every Wednesday night when I'm working my double shift and ds is REALLY into them.
Last night they watched "Return of the Jedi." I just got home from work and as soon as I walked in the door I was greeted with a very excited son who couldn't wait to tell me what happened:
"Mom, Mom, Mom! Luke Skywalker said YOU KILLED MY FATHER and Darth Vader said NO, I'M YOUR FATHER and then he got hurt and then Princess Leia wanted to save him and Luke Skywalker cutted off Darth Vadar's head and guess what? Guess what! Did you know that Darth Vadar cut off Luke Skywalker's hand but then somebody gaved him a robot hand. And guess what? We saw Yoda when he was old!"
The boy is positively giddy with excitement, LOL. He's been slowly working his way through all of the movies for several months and obviously last night's movie was mindblowing. ;-)
Re: Ds and Return of the Jedi
That's too funny. The next generation of Star Wars! Btw, congrats on your jogging stroller score from last night. I just read your post this morning. Seems like a sign that you were posting about it and then scored it. Good luck with your new workout program. Just a little each day.
