How many of you got sick? When did you start feeling that way? Was it only at certain times, or all day? And most importantly, when did it go away?!?!
I started feeling sick in the 5th week. It has gotten progressively worse during the 6th week. It lasts all day/night, and is worse in the morning and night.
I'm taking zofran and phenergan, and I sometimes take b6. I just started my folgard vitamin yesterday in addition to my PNV, and my RE is hopeful it might help some since it'll be a regular dose of b6.
Re: "Morning" sickness questions
Like you, I started feeling sick in the 5th week. It got a lot worse during the 6th week. During the 7th week, it completely disappeared. I've had no morning sickness since the very beginning of week 7 ****knock on wood****
I hope yours goes away soon or you're able to find something that works. It's definitely not easy.
I started getting "morning sickness" at around 6 weeks.
I always got it first thing in the morning and would always throw up. Then I would feel nausea through out the day.
At some point during the rest of the day I would always throw up again.
Sometimes before lunch, at lunch, before dinner or after dinner or right before I went to bed.
There was never a day that I didn't throw up.
I was sick my entire pregnancy. I even threw up the morning of my delivery of the boys.
As a side note I was the exact same way when I was pregnant with my daughter. Thankfully with her I always threw up in the morning was down for about an hour and then was usually okay. Sometimes I would get an upset stomach but it would go away rather quickly. I also threw up the morning of her delivery. I am consistant if nothing else.
My doctor's were not willing to give me drugs to help me with it - so I suffered through it.
I only 'got sick' a few times, but I felt nauseous pretty much all day from week 6 to around week 13/14. I still get a little gaggy in the morning now or if I smell something bad, but truth be told I've always had a weak stomach. It's nowhere near as bad as it was though.
I did try the b6, but sometimes the pill itself would make me gag. I found that I had to keep something in my stomach and that was the best cure, hard as it was to do sometimes. I pretty much allowed myself to eat whatever sounded good, which wasn't much. This included cheetos and buttered noodles. I also drank a lot of lemonade, which helped (water was making me gag too).
Good luck, it will get better!
