Video monitor for two rooms

If you have video monitors for both your DC's room, do you have one monitor with two cameras or did you have to get a monitor and camera for each?  If you have one monitor/two cameras, which one do you have?  Right now we have the Summer Infant B/W monitor but I'm pretty sure it can't be used with a 2nd camera so we'd either need to buy another one (not sure if we'd have an interference problem though) or a new system that is just one monitor with two cameras -- which can monitor both rooms at once (switching between each every few seconds, etc.).

Re: Video monitor for two rooms

  • We bought a second Summer Infant camera & monitor. We have the camera in G's room set to channel A and E's room set to channel B then we keep one monitor upstairs and the other one downstairs then just switch between the channels when we want to check on the other room. We usually leave them on the baby's room and just check on the toddler every once in awhile (he's a really good sleeper).
  • I'm going to get an entirely new monitor. I thought about getting another camera, but I wouldn't know if the other is crying depending on the channel it's set on.

my room is going to look like a security office :)
