hospital bag...

When did you pack yours?  

I've been refusing for fear of jinxing anything...but I'm kind of starting to think I should maybe this week.  I have a list made so in theory DH could pack it up for me...but I'd rather do it so I can control exactly what all goes in there! :)  Even with a list, he'll grab some random things.

    I packed some of it around week 30 but filled it the rest of the way the night we left for the hospital with dh's help.

    I would pack at least some stuff - maybe the stuff you consider "must haves."  I went to L & D one night and then never made it back home (I had been to L&D a few times before and never thought I would end up staying)

    DH had to bring stuff from home for me - he brought 2 giant bags filled with clothes that I wore pre-pregnancy!  so not only did I not have the stuff I wanted, we had to lug home a ton of stuff I couldn't even use.

    I would have some stuff packed.  I went into the hospital with PTL at 29 weeks, thinking I'd be home in a couple of hours, but was admitted and sat in the hospital for 3 more weeks until I had babies.  I had no bag packed and had lists and lists of things for my poor DH to bring me (an he never really got everything I needed) so if you want to control your bag - I think you should get some stuff together!

    I'm already thinking of packing mine once I UNPACK from my trip last week.

    With DS I started packing around 37.5 and finished 2 days later while I was in early labor.  This time I plan on starting around 30-34 or so.  Of course I hope to make it as far as possible (37's a goal and I think 38 would be optimal), but I want to be ready.

    Hi!

    I packed mine over the last week...I have a list of the last minute stuff that has to go in that can't be packed yet (and locations in case MH is the one who ends up having to do it). I have a fear of going into the OB & being told I have to go to the hospital so I figured I'd get it out of the way. ?
