I know that everyone is different but I read that sometimes you can feel twins earlier. I haven't felt them yet and wondering when did you feel your babies? Also, since this is my first pregnancy I have no clue what I should be feeling, only people's descriptions. I have no "flutters" yet but I do think I have had some round ligament pain, but that's not the babies. Just curious.
Re: When did you feel the babies?
For this pregnancy I was able to feel them around 14 weeks. This is my second pregnancy though, so I kinda know what to be feeling for. I think that what those first movements feel like are diferent for everyone.
For my first pregnancy which was a singleton preg. I felt ds move around 18 weeks.
I felt the first movements around 17.5 weeks. I asked my dr. this Q at my 16 week u/s and he said that in a first PG (like mine), movements usually aren't felt until 18-20 weeks. Just shy of that though, I remember it was a Sun. morning after I had eaten breakfast and without question, I FELT movement (nothing like a kick, but for sure not gas, LOL!!)
Hang in there and hope you feel the babies soon! Oh, and BTW, it may also depends on the babies' placentas positioning--for ex., I felt both girls up until about this past week (and started freakin' b/c I didn't feel my girl on the left as much!)--turns out she now has an anterior placenta so my new dr. assured me it's much harder to feel movements when the placenta is positioned this way. HTH
This is my second pregnancy so when I told the doc on Friday that I had felt them he was not shocked. :-) I remembered the feeling from my first child - little flutters. The girl I feel much more than the boy but not consistent yet. Still very early!
It was fun when I had the ultrasound b/c when I saw them move on the screen I could feel it! :-)
