Who is not doing their baby girl?s room in pink?

Just curious, because I feel like the only one.  I am going for something very feminine and girlie using black and white bedding with soft grey walls and some white floral art decals.

What will you be doing?

We are doing light yellow, apple green, cream and black.

The walls are painted banana split yellow (color of the wall in my sig pic) and this is our bedding:

  • My girl's room is  a very very pale robin's egg blue.

When I bought the paint, the lady said, "So you're having a boy?" Grrrrrrr... Where does it say that girl rooms have to be pink? Blech.

  • I have a butter cream color on the walls and "a la mode" trim (yes -that is the actual name of the paint).

I am looking at a bed set w/ red roses and a cream background. I am also looking at some cute ones w/ jungle animals. At least I have it narrowed down that far. That is a big step for me.

  • Well my 3 year old is in the process of getting a pink girly room but she had a purple room for the last year and a half (before that it was rental beige).  For baby #2 (when it happens) I have already planned on doing dove grey with hits of yellow and orange, whether it's a boy or girl and I do plan on finding out the gender.  I already had a friend express shock that i won't be adding blue or pink after I find out.
  • I am doing either cream and lavender or sage. There are two bedding sets I like and will narrow it down eventually - that is if it is a girl!
A lot of years and a million tears finally led me to you.

  • We are doing a really pale lavender on the walls, almost a periwinkle blue. Accent colors are a bright yellow and a deep aqua blue.
  • IF we have a girl we will do a light light blue.

  • The room walls are purple and we will accent with lighter color purples and bright greens.
  • While there is some pink in the bedding - it is primarily cream and sage -- the room itself will be a neutral cream that has the slightest blush tint you can barely tell.  I am not a fan of all things pink - never have been.
  • I am accenting with pink, but the main colors are aqua and chocolate brown.  I'm also accenting with a lime-ish green and lots of crisp white details too.
  • If this baby is a girl, the walls definitely won't be pink.....I don't know about the bedding but it won't be overwhelming pink for sure.
  • We went with brown as the main color.  Accent colors are brite green, orange, lite blue.  The walls stayed the same, peanut butter.  The nursery doubles as a office, so I didn't want anything to babyish.

  • I'm doing turquoise and cream.

  • I'm not doing pink in my daughter's room either. Her bedding does have pink in it, but that's fine. Her room will be painted either a light sage green, or a light sky blue. This is our bedding set.

  • We are doing a blue room, but don't know what we're having yet.
  • We used gray walls too!  Baby's bedding is pink and white though, but I didn't want pink everywhere.

  • ours is aqua and a small amount of coral and yellow, with antique white furniture.. i posted a pic a few posts below with the dressers in it...
  • not us (we don't know what it is yet!) but the walls are like an ice blue with white wainscoting on the bottom and cherry hardwoods.
  • We recently moved into our house so DH didn't want to paint the walls, which are a dark beige.  We went with the notNeutral Seasons and Elements set (tree, pond, sky) for the walls and the Brooke Bedding from PBK (light blue and green).  The only pink we have in the room comes from the hot air balloon decals and the flowers on the tree and pond.
  • We're doing our baby girls room in light sage green  & brown.  I just ordered her bedding & can't wait to get it!
