Just curious, because I feel like the only one.I am going for something very feminine and girlie using black and white bedding with soft grey walls and some white floral art decals.
I have a butter cream color on the walls and "a la mode" trim (yes -that is the actual name of the paint).
I am looking at a bed set w/ red roses and a cream background. I am also looking at some cute ones w/ jungle animals. At least I have it narrowed down that far. That is a big step for me.
Life is either a daring adventure or it is nothing at all.
Well my 3 year old is in the process of getting a pink girly room but she had a purple room for the last year and a half (before that it was rental beige). For baby #2 (when it happens) I have already planned on doing dove grey with hits of yellow and orange, whether it's a boy or girl and I do plan on finding out the gender. I already had a friend express shock that i won't be adding blue or pink after I find out.
I am doing either cream and lavender or sage. There are two bedding sets I like and will narrow it down eventually - that is if it is a girl!
A lot of years and a million tears finally led me to you.
After 7 years trying to concieve, 3 failed IUIs and 2 failed IVFs, my third IVF was a success!
My Christmas baby turned into a turkey bird! Dillon Richard was born at 34 weeks, 5 days on November 28, 2009 after 10 weeks on bedrest for preeclampsia.

While there is some pink in the bedding - it is primarily cream and sage -- the room itself will be a neutral cream that has the slightest blush tint you can barely tell. I am not a fan of all things pink - never have been.
I am accenting with pink, but the main colors are aqua and chocolate brown. I'm also accenting with a lime-ish green and lots of crisp white details too.
We went with brown as the main color. Accent colors are brite green, orange, lite blue. The walls stayed the same, peanut butter. The nursery doubles as a office, so I didn't want anything to babyish.

I'm not doing pink in my daughter's room either. Her bedding does have pink in it, but that's fine. Her room will be painted either a light sage green, or a light sky blue. This is our bedding set.
We recently moved into our house so DH didn't want to paint the walls, which are a dark beige. We went with the notNeutral Seasons and Elements set (tree, pond, sky) for the walls and the Brooke Bedding from PBK (light blue and green). The only pink we have in the room comes from the hot air balloon decals and the flowers on the tree and pond.
Re: Who is not doing their baby girl?s room in pink?
We are doing light yellow, apple green, cream and black.
The walls are painted banana split yellow (color of the wall in my sig pic) and this is our bedding:
BFP #3 -mm/c @ 7wks, discovered at 9wks, D&C 9/28
BFP #4 5/29 EDD 2/9 - please be our rainbow
My girl's room is a very very pale robin's egg blue.
When I bought the paint, the lady said, "So you're having a boy?" Grrrrrrr... Where does it say that girl rooms have to be pink? Blech.

We used gray walls too! Baby's bedding is pink and white though, but I didn't want pink everywhere.
