diarhea - when to call dr?

One of the girls has the runs.  She messed up her shirt at day care today.  I also noticed some on Friday, but nothing over the weekend.  She has been eating like a champ, and gained 7 oz over the weekend.  She had a bit of a cold last week, and we thought she was going through a growth spurt.

At what point do you call the dr?  What are some things that I can do for her?

I'm pretty sure as long as they are eating enough and having wet diapers that it will just pass.

You could call and ask a nurse if it makes you feel better, but usually it will pass.  I only call if it has a negative impact on their eating/drinking or if they are going without wet diapers.

I would call if she has a fever or passes more than one stool per feeding. And like pp said, if she is dehydrated (dark or pink urine).
