Medical Permission for DC??

My DH and I are headed out of town at the end of July for 1 week. My MIL and my mother are going to take turns watching DD. Is there a note I need to write giving either of our parents permission for treatment at the pediatrician/hospital in our absence?  I may call the pediatrician's office to check with them as well.  TIA.

Yes, my DH and I went to Cancun this year and left DS with my SIL. I left a note with her saying that if my son needed medical attention from the pedi or from a hospital physician that my SIL, MIL, FIL or mother had permission to take him and decided on treatment with doctor in our absence. I just wrote the note up myself.
