Last night I noticed quite a bit of bright red blood when I wiped.. enough that I had to wipe a couple more times. I put in a liner and went to bed trying not to worry - and there hasn't been any more blood since.?
There has been no sex (though I'm sure DH wishes that was the explanation) and no internals.. nothing to irritate the cervix.
I have been having more BH the last couple days, but until the spotting I thought it was because I've been on my feet a lot more the last few days and probably not drinking enough water.
Should I just forget about it unless it happens again...??
Re: One incidence of red spotting is ok, right?
I don't think there's much to worry but I would still call the doctor.
I had one single incident of spotting during my first pregnancy and called the doctor. Turned out I had UTI.
No harm calling the doctor..
Good luck!
My OB always said to call for ANY blood at any point in PG. I also had some bright red blood when i wiped at some point in my 3rd tri (can't remember exactly how many weeks, around 36 weeks though). I called and they told me that it might just be my uterus stretching more or something. (after asking me a bunch of questions) they just told me to keep an eye on it and call if i had anymore but they were glad i called and it was the right thing to do.
What they always told me is that bleeding is not normal but it is also not unusual.
Anyway, all that to say I would call your OB's office. I am sure it is nothing to worry about but if anything it will atleast make you feel better to hear a medical professional tell you not to worry. i know it did for me.
(read it. you know you want to.)

I agree, call. Probably nothing to worry about, but I do remember one of my nurses saying bleeding shouldn't be happening at this point. Kind of the not unusual, but not normal thing that abbysmom said. LMK how it goes.
Called the OB nurse and she think it may have been caused by all the BH I had over the weekend. Since it was just isolated to that one bathroom trip, she said to just take it easy, stay hydrated to ward off the BH, and she put me on pelvic rest til my appt next week (which is funny because we haven't had sex since May!).
If anything changes at all I need to call them back - any blood, any cramping, or any UTI symptoms.
Thanks ladies!?
