OK this isn't so much a baby item, but I've been starting to look at potty chairs for ds (although we aren't ready for it yet) and I think this is ridiculous! (for one how do teach them to go #2)

Oh goodness...the stretching has begun.  I have not had many symptoms up until this point but this totally stinks!

QOTD:  As my husband likes to say...What did they do when they were on the Oregon Trail.  He thinks that everything is rediculous because there was a time when we didn't have anything.  Hard to say what I think at the moment.  I really haven't done much looking in the stores and have only focused on the big items that I know we will have to have...crib, stroller, car seat, etc.

Not much new, except we finally have our peri consult scheduled for next Wednesday.

For some reason I guess I don't see many ridiculous baby products!  I'm usually just googling for the normal stuff : )  The only thing that's a little weird to me (and I know a lot of other people like them), are the pea pods I think you call them.  To me they look like pet carriers!

Had a good visit with my Peri today. They performed a fetal eco on B and, from what can be viewed, his heart seems "normal". I thought they would do a growth scan today but, that isn't until next Friday. I'm relieved to leave that office without bad news for once.

There are so many silly, worthless baby products on the market. IMO baby wipes warmer is one of them along with the Diaper Genie, oh and that bath tub bucket, on and those pee-pee tee pees

I personally think activity mats are silly. Won't a blanket on the floor work? Throw some toys down.

we just found out yesterday we are having boy/girl twins!  now we can be done! ha. 

personally i think the wipe warmer is a crazy product.  i just dont see the need to spend money on something like that!  they arent that cold!

They sell strips so you can check the alcohol content of your breast milk. That made me laugh.

Met with my new peri and hosptial staff. relieved and excited that the hospital has a level 3 nicu. so happy that i was able to have a smooth transition from transferring abroad. Girls are growing more and more and had their 22 wk ultrasound Thurs. All is good!

 

QOTD: i thought it was a bit "over the top" when i saw baby bottles and pacifiers at Harrods in London that were Armani or Fendi--I can't imagine dropping $$ like that on "designer plastic" LOL

Had a checkup today. IT went well and the dr said that everything looks good. She also said that with each appt, I get an in-office ultrasound just to take a quick peak. We saw both babies and saw each of their hearts fluttering away! We have our first official ultrasound next friday so I hope to finally get pictures to show everyone!

QOTD: I don't see the point of a diaper genie. I just use a trash can with a flip up lid so that I don't have to open it with my hands. I guess I don't understand baby oil either. I dont know what I would use it on! Also, the designer diaper bags are stupid IMO. I have a friend who is a germaphobe and she has a designer coach bag. I can't wait until she gets the first bit of poo or puke on it and see how she feels about it then!

No new updates here except we made it to 34 weeks, doctor will not stop labor after today, eek! Contractions are still here, not doing anything, but making me uncomfortable.

QOTD: Wipe warmer, hands down. My SIL sent me her's and I just put it away in the closet, no thanks.

QOTD- I think those pacifiers that look like mouths with teeth are rediculous. Sorry if anyone has them.

Can I be added please.  My due date is Feb. 24, 2010.  I'm having twins, possibly triplets.  There is a third sac that is growing, but they can't get a good picture of it as it is in a weird position.  Thanks!
