...they first felt the baby kick?

My Hubby felt the baby kick for the first time last night!

I've been feeling bumps and kicks and flips pretty often for a little over a week now, but nothing strong enough for him to feel.But last night Hubby had his hand resting on my tummy, and it was almost like the baby wanted it off there right NOW! Hard thumps right under Daddys hand!

After the first one Hubby asked me if that was the baby...after that he just felt for a little bit longer and then kinda laughed and said "Wow...it's so small!"

 The whole thing made me feel all warm and fuzzy. I've been feeling kinda bad that I'm getting all this interaction with baby, and Daddys been kinda left out.

 I was just wondering what other SO's said/reacted the first time they felt baby.

The baby refuses to kick when DH is around. He tries to feel it but can't. I can even see movement from the outside now so I know he should be able to feel something. He is disappointed so far. I am hoping for a good field goal kind of kick for DH soon.

He always asks me, is that it?  lol Its like uhh yah! haha  The first time he said that's weird lol

Except our LO always seems to calm down the moment he puts his hand on my stomach so it always takes forever for him to feel it, poor guy!

My husband kept saying "are you sure you're not doing that?"  I laughed and said, "Yes, I can't make my belly do those things, sorry...that's your kid!!"  Now he likes to push his face against my stomach and see if the baby kicks it back...it's funny.

All hard kicking stops as soon as DH puts his hand on my belly.  He can still feel the little movements, but he has yet to feel a big kick.  So far, he's not all that impressed lol.

FI has yet to feel her yet

The placenta is in front of her, so I don't even feel her all that much. I'm wondering when he'll be able to though. I know he's dying to feel a little kick from his baby girl!

we actually almost got into a car accident! he was driving and the baby was kicking like crazy so i had him put his hand on my belly and i put my hand on top of him.. we're driving and then suddenly it was the biggest kick ever.. it was so strong that both of us screamed and he swerved the car!  i laugh now, but when it happened it was no laughing matter..

He got a huge smile on his face, the faintest glimmer of a tear in his eye, and gave me a giant bear hug. He was just so happy

I can't wait till my husband gets to feel the baby! I've felt a few sporadic taps since Sunday, but it's still far too early for him to feel anything.  As we were laying in bed last night he told me that he's jealous that I get to feel the baby move right now and he doesn't. Poor guy!

Luckily we can see her kicking.  He loves to watch her move my belly around.  He will wait until he sees her kick and then puts his finger right where she is.  We will watch her kick at his hand.  We just laugh!
