Baby Shower ?

When do you all think is the best "time" to have the shower so that it's not too early and not too late? Maybe 31-36 wks???

I think anytime in the 3rd tri, but more so after 30 weeks. I'm having one at 33 weeks.

Mine are going to be at 34 and 35 weeks. I know people that have had them earlier and some later.

I was thinking of having mine at 29 wks.

my first is when i will be 30 weeks, the second i will be 34 weeks and the 3rd will be in between

My big family one (1st shower) I will only be 27 weeks.  I wanted it this way though because I didn't want to be very big and uncomfortable.  I'm only 5 feet tall so this belly will be very large by then!

I'm having mine next weekend, but I have to travel and didn't want to be too huge for it.  I'm already a bigger girl and the thought of being 30 something weeks and cramming my butt into an airplane seat was not pleasant.  My Mom planned it all, so I didn't really have a say.

i'll be at week 27 for my first hosted by my in-laws in VT, i made my hubby talk to his mom about just doing on since she never did one (after telling me she would) for our wedding (yes i'm still a little bitter 2 years later). He told her what we had for holiday weekends and that labor day weekend would be better because it's a 4 day weekend for us so that's what they are doing. As for my one at home with my family and friends I'm thinking it'll probably be early november (dont want to get too close to my due date dec 6 or thanksgiving) but i'm not 100% on that because my mom and sisters will handle that one.?
