worth a shot .  I had a really wacky roommate in college that tried things like taping 32 (at the time) pennies to a box or sometimes even a dollar just to see if it would work.  I don't think it ever did.

That actually used to work.  I remember when postage was .25 and putting a quarter in the mailbox with the letter.  Mail got delivered.  Of course it could have been my kind postman too who had stamps of his own on him.  IDK...
