all while on vacation...

so I have been on vacation for the last two weeks and A LOT happened.  

First I realized I absolutely LOVE Ikea (I had never been to one before I was in Orlando.)  I bought so much stuff for baby and his/her room and only spent $50.  I fell in love instantly.  

The second- mothers hold on to everything- and I can't wait to get the same rocking horse my husband used as a child from my MIL.  I even got the same cradle that I used when I was younger.  (please no one flame me for using that cradle- I know the potential risks).

I also saw my husbands "second parents" and they are super excited about us having the first "grand child" that they bought us clothes and a blanket and a bouncy chair.  They also said that because "shopping just isn't fun when you don't know the sex" that we would be getting more stuff in September when we see them again.  

I also went to my first family reunion on my husband's side and I loved being ooo'd and awe'd.  My husband and I are having the first grandchild and great grandchild of his side.  

As well, since we left I could only feel the baby a little, now I feel the baby several times a day.  And I love it!  My bump has also gotten bigger, which right now makes me happy- I still don't look pregnant.  

And last night when we finally arrived home to stay for good my husband looked at me and said "you are so cute now.  You've changed so much since we left here last time.  It makes it seem more real."   

SO YEAH FOR VACATION!

yay for you!! ?and yay for getting along with all of dh's family!

i do not get along with the lady that calls herself my dh's 2nd mom.. she is super annoying and my dh barely sees her anymore. ?when i got pregnant with layla, she called us out at a christmas party and scolded us for not calling her immediately and telling her about the baby. ?this is a woman i've only seen like 3 times in the 5 years dh & i have been together, but yes sure she should've been at the top of my call list. ?::eye roll::?

well thank goodness... the second parents are by choice of my DH's... they are the parents of his best friend and have always been there for him... although we don't talk all the time, we are very close...
