Next Appt.?

I have my second appointment tomorrow 15 weeks and wanted to know what they do.  I had so many questions at my first appointment I forgot to ask.  Will they do an external ultrasound, so we can see the baby or do they just take measurement from the size of my belly.  Sorry if this has been asked, first pregnancy and just don't know what the expect.

At my second appointment, not much really happened. We got to hear the heatbeat for the first time, and then I got to ask any questions that I had. I didn't have an ultrasound until 18W2D. I would suggest writing down your questions and taking them with you, that way you won't forget!

my first appointment was around 5 weeks, then my second was 8 and i had an u/s. ?

you might want to call today and see what will happen in case you do get an u/s and your dh wants to go. ?if you don't get an u/s it might be pointless for your dh to sit there while you pee in a cup, they take your weight.. and the dr asks how you've been feeling, lol. ??

I actually had a pap smear during my second exam.  Before that, we talked about morning sickness and she asked LOTS of questions about what kind of foods I'm eating.  She tried to find the heartbeat, but could not find it, so I had a quick u/s to see the flicker.

Call your doc's office and ask! They will be happy to fill you in on what to expect -- especially if you would like your SO there to witness any possible ultrasounds.?

You'll most likely get an external exam and get to hear the heartbeat on the doppler. But call!?
