XP:Tell me about your Baby Shower themes & Ideas!

XP: I am throwing a shower for my sister and need some ideas! She is having a little boy. Some things about her/the baby: The room is being decorated in a jungle theme with blue camo. Her DH is into hunting. She is an artist and loves artistic things. Any thoughts?

Since she's an artist and loves aritstic things, maybe you could do some onsie decorating at the shower.

For my cousin we're doing a train theme (their nursery is the precious planet).. we also made diaper cakes for the centerpieces.

My mom is doing Noah's ark theme, because I am having a boy, and his name is Noah..So she thought it would be cute

When we threw my sister a shower, we made it very informal and fun. There were three "stations"

1. Onsie Painting: We bought a bunch of plain white onesie in all different sizes and had the guest paint/decorate them.
2. Picture frame/wood shape painting: I went to Michaels craft store and bought a bunch of wood shapes, letter blocks, and wood picture frames for the guest to decorate. We also bought large wood letters with the babies name and had a couple guest decorate them. These are now hanging in the nursery.
3. Book: We bought a blank book which people could write a story in. For example, the first person would start out talking about a prince in a castle and end it there, the next person would pick up where that person ended. We then had my cousin illustrate the book. 
   

There were no games and people got to move around and chat up whoever they wanted. We also hung up baby photos of the mom and dad with clothes pins on a piece of twine. Everyone at the shower said they loved it!!
