BB question: possible TMI

So I woke up this morning with a huge dried patch where my left nipple is, obvious leakage happening here.

This seems a little early to me...Is anyone else using bra pads yet, or something else?

By the way, my (not so) wonderful hubby made a ewww face at the site of it.  I am sure it will come back to haunt him...

I have since 16 weeks.  Mostly when I go for walks and they move around a lot.

If you feel like you need to use some sort of pad, do it ?

Funny story... for the past two weeks I have been waking up with "sand" in my bra/tank, and I was like, WTF, where is this sand coming from? It finally dawned on me the other day, that it is dried up leakage.

Not as much this time around, but I had HORRIBLE leakage really early on with DD.  I had to start wearing the pads at night pretty early and even then sometime I would wake up with big wet spots on my pjs and wet sheets.  Oh the joys!

I'm wearing the pads for the first time today since last night my right boob thought it was a faucet.

I just read in a breastfeeding book that you can get leakage as early as the 2nd trimester!
