Replacing seat pads of travel system?

We were given a brand new Evenflo Aura travel system.

We can't return it, as we don't have the box and I believe this particular stroller is not available in Canada, or at least this model is not. It was purchased in the States, and the family ended up with 3 strollers so never used this one and decided to give it to us. It is brand new and never used.

I really like it, except for the fabric. The outside of the stroller is fine, but the interior of it and the infant seat have a really ugly tacky animal print. Like HIDEOUS.

I fiddled around with it and it looks like the pads for both pieces can come off the stroller and infant seat. Does anyone know if I can buy/order a new seat pads? I thought about sewing one but it would be too complicated with all the slots and cuts for the straps to come through.

Re: Replacing seat pads of travel system?

  • Have you tried calling the manufacturer?
  • Loading the player...
  • Keep in mind most car seats purchased in the US are not legal for use in Canada. Look for the National Safety Mark on the car seat.   If it isn't there, it is against the law for you as a Canadian to use the car seat in Canada.   (For U.S. visitors traveling from the United States to Canada, use of the U.S. product is permissible while visiting Canada).

I would look into this issue before the seat pads....

  • Can you just make a cover for it, rather than make a whole new pad?  Make sure it's ok to use here (Canada) before you go spending any money on it.
