Did I do too much??

So girls, I need opinions on whether I should be worried or not.  I spent most of today packing packing boxes, moving them to our new house and unpacking them,  Now I feel like I have a stictch in my side and haven't felt baby girl move since early this morning.  ( she is usually very active )  Should I call the doctor?  Should I be wooried?  While the stitch in my lower side is painful, it is not unbearable.  WWYD

Re: Did I do too much??

  • I felt like this after cleaning for several hours the other day.  After I rested for a while I felt back to normal (well, pregnancy  normal).

  • If you don't feel movement by tomorrow I would call the doctor, especially if the pain increases. ?I'm sure everything ins fine. Maybe you wore her out :)
  • I wouldn't worry about the lack of movement at all.  She's probably just sleeping due to the fact that you've been moving around and rocking her to sleep all day :)

I would just put your feet up for the rest of the night.  Maybe try the old lay on your side and drink some juice thing.  That usually gets my LO moving.

  • I'm sure you're perfectly fine, just streched a muscle or something but I'd call the doctor anyway.  That's what they are there for.  My doctor said call no matter what the question.  I think that you're doctor won't think you're overreacting, just being a concerned mom.

Oh, and take it easy!  Smile

  • Drink some juice and lay down on your left side and see if you can get her moving.  It does sound like you should take it easy for a while though.
  • I had this same problem a couple weeks ago when we moved.  I would sit down, drink some water and rest for a while.  I know when I do too much at home or have a hard night at work my little boy is less active too.

    This....Yes

  • We just moved, too.  I did a lot of the work b/c my family doesn't live super close and my DH is in school.  I felt a little stitch, too.  I called the doctor and she said to rest up.  I say take it easy tonight and see how you feel tomorrow.  If you're still worried, call your doctor.  It will ease your mind. :)
  • YUp, we all go through this feeling. My dr says the same, lay down and drink water. Oh and take it easy :)

Yes. I sympathize with your moving boxes. I've been doing the same yesterday and today. Yesterday I paced myself a little more slowly, and my baby was quiet at day, bouncy at night when i settled down.

Today hand in the key day, so I'm working a little harder. I am sure I will feel my son act up tonight while I try to sleep. Smile

  • the more you move, the less the baby moves. So after resting and taking it easy for a while you should feel some movement again. I wouldn't worry about it, just try not take it a little easier if you still have mroe work to do!
