You can easily keep it under that...unless you buy crap by the truckload like my husband.
I would recommend not staying at a value resort. The buses are way too full all of the time. Our favorite so far has been the Animal Kingdom Lodge. It's quiet and away from everything when you want to relax. I love the Port orleans resorts too.
If you are going in September, i would wait until a free dining offer comes out before you book. May as well get free food since they charge 8.00 for a burger. And we always book right through Disney. They have been great about making last minute changes for us on 2 occassions.
I'm sure it is a nightmare there this week since that monorail crash has the whole system shut down for investigation.
