The closest I could find were tailored ones. So, they still had the one pleat in the center, but they had very straight lines. Unfortunately, they cost A LOT. I just went with the a pleated one from Target.
If you Google tailored bed skirts, you should find something that may be appealing.
I found one on Giggle.com. It's part of the George bedding collection. It does have pleats but it's not ruffly or frou-frou looking, if that's what you're trying to avoid (like me). I thought it looked very tailored.
Also, if you're willing to include a little color in the crib skirt, then the PBK Pique collection is very nice. The skirts aren't pleated and are very crisp and tailored-looking, but they do have two thin solid horizontal stripes running through them - you can get them with either a light blue, navy blue, or brown stripe for boys, and I think a dark pink, light pink, or light green for girls. I'll probably go with the George skirt if it's a girl and the Pique skirt with the brown stripes if it's a boy. I'm trying to keep the bedding simple. Also, I've found it's hard to find bedding that sells its pieces a la carte - most of the bedding sets are sold as sets, which sucks. Both the George and Pique skirts are sold individually.

You know I googled PBK today and found that crib skirt as an option. Now that we are through with the bumper in the crib (we went with a breathable one when he started rolling around at night) I wanted to keep everything simple and go with plain white on the crib since he has so much color everywhere else in the room. Thanks.
babybedding.com ... they have a ton of plain colored bedding w/ or w/o pleats. i think they have plain white. it's by carousel designs, which baby bargains rates highly. (i have it in royal blue)
