Neu tree decal from WallSlicks - PIP!

We put up baby's crib this weekend and then I put up our Neu tree decal (with a little help from DH with the trunk) - what a process it was, but it's so awesome!

It took probably six hours total over two days to complete - cutting out every piece, taping it all to the wall, removing it, sticking it up there ... holy moly.

I just love it, though!

Here are some pics:

  • Ohh crap!   I just ordered the same tree (but with a boy swinging on it) I can not believe it took you 6 hours!

It does look beautiful though.  Is that color burnt?  I wanted a chocolate brown.

Yeah .... about that long, it's a major process. But if you can split it up over a few days, it's not so bad.

Yes, the color is Burnt. It's beautiful!

And it really wasn't as difficult to put up as I thought - I was really worried I'd f*** it up somehow and my $70 would be out the window - but it's pretty easy. Just time-consuming!!

  • Very cool!  Who knew those decals were so labor intensive?
  • Looks awesome, love it!
  • We ordered ours last week its seafoam.. And should be here soon hopefully this week. Is there a guide to putting it up or do you just wing it? It looks great by the way!

It comes with directions, and I also looked up instructional videos on YouTube on applying wall decals - someone suggested that on here and it was very helpful.

  • I love it!  I would love to do something like this for the next nursery we have.
  • that looks great!
  • Looks very good. I've been looking for a tall tree decal that didn't cost over $100. I'm so glad you posted this.
  • We are ordering this tree too, though I still cannot decide what color to get...Our nursery is white and cotton candy blue with white furniture..though i think i'm going to get fog.  Good to know it took so long, i will stay out of the room when dh is taking care of this

  • I want one!! Love it!
  • looks great! I think it was totally worth the time. =)
  • I definitely want to get something like this...maybe this exactly, but we wont be living in Japan for more than 2 more years.  So, I know they're removable, but would it be completely insane to put it up while we live here and then put it back on the papers and put it back up where we move?
