4th of july = fail
It's been a long day. ?Zoo with my family, 3 failed naps, failed snacks, failed dinner, 45min drive to grandma in law's house on a lake....
only to find out Bryan hates boats (maybe 'cause of his ears???) and is petrified of fireworks. ?Stood out on the balcony w/Sam so she could see them over the lake - she was in total awe & loved them. ?Maybe next year.

Fail for us too. I ran my mouth today to my MIL. I need to learn when to shut it. But, if only my SIL wasnt a worthless parent.

a fat fail for me too. I never get sick....wouldn't you know it, haven't been able to get out of bed today. Fever, throat, the works.
And even worse...the 4th of July ranks up there as one of, if not the, favorite holiday of mine.
I had a dud day, until this evening, and really, the entire day was made by Benjamin telling me it was his "best day ever" during the fireworks.
Melted my heart, in fact. Even though i am sick, tired, it's too humid to run the distance I am supposed to run this weekend, and my house is a disaster...
