How is it going? No luck with the allimentum I see? what about neocate? did you find any more info on the steroid injections? how is your DS tolerating the TED? Are you any closer to figuring out what he's allergic to?
Just thinking about you!

oh - to give you some hope. DD is 8 mos and doing MUCH better. If I slip up now it's no longer a puking fest. She doesn't puke at all actually. Just a little diarrhea (used to be puking, rash, diarrhea, fussy).

YAY!!! That is so great to hear and hopefully something to look forward to! She is just too cute (doesn't surprise me one bit b/c your DS is precious, too.)
Thanks for thinking of me and my little guy Thank you so much for the info on Allimentum vs. Neocate. I ordered a neocate sample and hopefully that will work (at the very least I want DS to be familiar with/ accepting of the flavor, just in case I need it!) The TED hasn't made a huge difference with DS's spitting up, etc. but the true test will be if there's still blood in his stool - hopefully we can check that next week with the GI doc. The diet is soooooo boring. I'm going to try to add back in at least oats tonight - I'm dying for something sweet and want to make cookies (found a dairy-,soy-, wheat-, egg-free recipe!)
As for the steroids, it seems like they might be compatible with BFing (have to check on dosage, etc.) Hale doesn't outright say "yeah, they're fine, regardless of dose" but he also doesn't say they're contraindicated. I'm trying to get my hands on a copy of his book to read more about the drug and BFing. I so hope I can keep nursing while also taking care of my hair issue - what a pain!
Thanks again for ALL of your help and support. Your opinon is always one I really value and use as a "guage" for what to do in a lot of situations. I really appreciate it
I really admire your dedication!! You're always just very gung-ho about things which is wonderful.
I hope the blood is gone but sorry to hear the spit-up hasn't improved. I guess some kids just spit up though for no reason? IDK. Christopher never did and when Sara does it's obvoius that something is wrong b/c it's actual vomit (smells like vomit. gross).
Good luck with the steroid research!
