    wow... I understand he was probably grief stricken over his wife, and stressed about the thought of rasing 9 kids on his own but wow.. thats horrible to leave them.. they were grieving too!  If I was the one raising the kids now, I would not let him see those kids.. not healthy for him to come in and out as he pleases.
