Orlando/Oviedo area

Hello,

I'm currently 14 weeks pregnant with my first child and wondering if there is anyone else in the Orlando/Oviedo/UCF area interested in connecting. We are relatively new to the area and I'm curious to know if anyone knows of a great OB or really recommends their OB? Anyone have any knowledge of how to find a good doula, or preferably a midwife in this area? Does anyone have any experience using a doula/midwife at Winnie Palmer Hospital?

My dr. is OB/Gyn and Associates in Orlando. They have offices in St. Cloud, Celebration, Hunters Creek and Kissimmee. 3 drs. and I really like them. They deliver at Celebration and Winnie Palmer.

I used Physician Associates.  They are a larger practice and have many local offices.  I used the south orlando office.  they deliver at WPH.  I have heard there are not many midwives around here. I think the only midwives are at birthing centers not WPH.  I moved from Atlanta and had a joint OB/Midwife practice there.

I also used OBGYN Specialists in Winter Park and delivered at Winnie Palmer this past May. ?I did research on having a doula but had complications in my pregnancy and was put on bed rest in the last month . . . so decided against a doula - because I believed I was going to have a c-section (which I did).

Hello! I live right behind UCF, and I'm almost 18 weeks now. I go to this ob in Winter Park, https://www.wpobgyn.com/. It's a little bit of a drive, but they're all very good doctors and have a nice staff. I don't know if they'll work with the hospital you're interested in though. I wouldn't mind connecting with you sometime. I've only been in the area for a little while myself. Have you felt the baby kick yet? I think I felt it this week. Fun stuff.

I go to Loch Haven OB/GYN off of Princeton and they are amazing. I go to Dr. Jackson or Dr. Caccitore but everyone is wonderful there. Best wishes on locating someone.

YAY!!! more ppl from Orlando! I just found out I was prego and have my 1st doctors appt Thursday. I go to Winter Park OBGYN and I see Dr. Bruce Breit. He dilivers at Winter Park Memorial Hosp. I'm sure at other places too but after hearing so many more horror stories than good stories about Winnie, I decided to go where my best friend had her baby in December. Unless of course, godforbid I have complications, then I will definitely go to Winnie.
