I've been seriously contemplating attending law school for a couple of years. However, now that I've got DS, I'm not sure I have the time/energy for it.
For those that have experienced it, would you say this is an impossible task or something that is definitely achievable?

Re: Any law school students/graduates, please come in.
I don't have first-hand experience, but DH just finished law school last spring. I think he would have been completely overwhelmed if we had kids while he was in law school. But I know some of his friends did it. I think it's definitely achievable, but just a lot of work. But if you have the time, resources, and help that you need for your LO, go for it.
I'm an attorney, and I did not have kids while in law school. I really don't know if I would have been able to handle it all. That being said, several of my classmates did have little kids- and they actually tended to be some of the highest acheivers- I think they were more focused, efficient, and productive with their time.
Something to consider might be a law school that has an evening/part time program. I went to the University of San Diego, and there is an evening program that takes 4 years instead of 3. That might make childcare and studying a bit easier. Just a thought.
Good luck with your decision!
Its definitely do-able. My one girlfriend gave birth to 2 kids during law school. Another girlfriend was pregnant when we took the bar.
The first year will definitely be the worst. Its a lot of reading, a lot of preparation before class, and a lot of study time during exams (there is only 1 exam for every class, so you only get one shot). you will basically be giving up your weekends at least the first 2 years of the 3. The third year is boring and goes by slooooooooooooow.
My 0.02 is that borrow only bare minimum in student loans cause the debt sucks.
I hear ya, sista! Ugh!
Thank you all so much. I have been looking into evening programs already because that seems to make more sense for me. DH is super helpful, so I know that if I choose to go, he will definitely help out where he can.
DH went to San Diego State and we would both love to live back in SD, so that's a definite possiblity.
Thanks again.
