He was so stressed out. I walked in and she was screaming her head off (I left him pumped milk, so its not like she was starving). He was like "shes screaming and I dont know what to do!?" Then I told him she didnt like the position he had her in and she calmed right down.

He took a shower and gave me a hug and poured me a glass of wine and said "I give you major props, I could never do that all day. How do yuo get the laundry done and cook!? I couldnt even clean the bottle out."

made me feel appreciated. Big Smile

Auchick - yes, just yesterday! DH has been working a lot and hasn't had a ton of one-on-one time with the baby. He still has yet to give her a bath all by himself. Anyway, yesterday we had a long talk. I wanted us to get on the same page. It seemed like he worked his normal day job, then came home and was off work. However, I work 24/7 and never get a break. He totally understood what I was saying.

Anyway, long story short. I went to Target, bought a couple bday presents and got myself some shirts/jeans so I dont have to wear maternity crap all summer. LOL.

I'm jealous you live in Austin! My family rents a house on Lake Travis every summer. Love that city!

Sounds like my DH. He feels guilty that he doesn't have as much time to take care of Jackson the way I do and get to know him better and spend more time with him. But he's not quite as appreciative. Hopefully since I've pointed this out to him recently that will change. Sounds like you have a good hubby on your hands!
