Brought to you by the mom who's listening to her caffeined-up toddler scream in his room right now, two hours after we put him to bed. Good times, good times.

Haha, I know! I always think, oh "just a bite of my chocolate chip pancakes before his nap won't hurt" or "it's just one glass of OJ, how can it keep her up?" WRONG. Every. Single. Time. Wrong.
DD is pretty "lively" to begin with, but give her chocolate and it's like she's on speed. She had a piece of birthday cake with chocolate frosting after dinner just one time ever--we learned our lesson. I feel your pain!

Thank the sweet baby Jesus, he's finally asleep. But, yeah, it was like he was on speed. DH and I spent 1.5 hours in there between the two of us, but it didn't help because he couldn't keep still. And when we would leave he'd scream because he's so tired but he couldn't fall asleep.
Lesson learned for SURE.

Frankie's doing really well! He's healthy, happy, and playing like a madman every moment he's not sleeping. I'll post some pics in a second.
