I got a bjorn and DD was instantly calmed when I put her in it and fell right asleep (knock on wood that this keeps working!). My question is, how much do you wear them during the day? Do you just use it as a calming solution and then put LO down in their crib/PNP? I worry that I'll wear her too much and then she won't sleep/calm herself without it.
What's your strategy? Thanks!
Re: If you "wear" your baby, come in!
check the eco friendly family board. There are a lot of baby wearers there. I use carriers a lot, but more for running around than at home these days (although when she was younger I definitely used the moby to get her to sleep).
IMO I don't think you can wear your baby too much.
I still wear kiddo a lot. Now I usually wear him to sleep and then lay him down; I'll leave him on if he's overtired and needs a good long nap (since he will sleep much longer on me and sometimes won't on his own). When he was smaller, I wore him for whole naps all the time.
I also wear him when we go for walks, whenever we go out, and if I need to do something around the house and he isn't happy playing on his own.
I don't think you can "overwear" a baby. As they get older, they'll let you know when they want to get down (kiddo already does) and it's instantly calming for him. He also loves being able to look around and watch what I do when he's awake and being worn.

Soon to celebrate the day we met, even if the day before marks when we said goodbye.
That's super helpful - thanks for the heads up!
