Are hair places open on Sundays? Any recs?

I'm having some pics done Sunday evening and would like for someone to do my hair. (The extent of my hair talent is a ponytail. Seriously.) I usually get my hair cut twice a year at like a TGI Haircutter's, so my knowledge of "places" to get my hair done is slim to none.

Any recs? Are any places even open on Sundays? (I already tried Zig Zag...they are not.)

Dear Bump: You suck.

  • Total plug for my mom..... She just moved down here and works at the JCPenney Salon in Round Rock (by the IKEA). She works on Sundays, too!

Her name is Trish, the salon number is (512) 341-7603.

She's a great hairdresser, which I take credit for because I was such a picky b!tch in high school.

  • I recommend Ulta. I get my haircut there (Gateway location) and have always been happy. They also came through in a pinch on my wedding day to fix my hair which also happened to be prom weekend.

I use Javi to cut my hair but I'm not sure if he does styling.

  • You can try calling Melody personally - tell her you're a friend of mine and Beck's and she might be able to help you out if she's not busy.  577-7868
  • Fairlady Salon is where I go off of 685 in the POP shopping center. Velma is great but I've decided Erika is the one for me. They're great and reasonable.
