Anyone get hemorrhids? (sorry if it's TMI)

How long do they normally last? I had one pop up on our drive up to DC. I've never had one externally, but I'm using prescription creams and suppositories, but is doesn't seem to be shrinking.

    had one after delivery, but it went away after a week or so.  the important thing is trying to avoid straining when you poop. 

    sometimes they get thrombosed (basically a big clot in there) and are then unlikely to go away...

    I have a mousse called proctofoam that is a great product!  Works really well but only available through prescription.

    i had some pretty nasty ones at the end of my pregnancy and after delivery. At the hospital they gave me this stuff called "supercreme." I'm not kidding when I say it's a topical cocaine, but that stuff is a.ma.zing at making them go away quickly.
