How do you feel about birthmothers here?
I know I have posted a few times, but sometimes I feel like I may be more of a bother than anything. How do you feel about birthmothers/first moms/etc being here? Are you ok with it? Not ok? I do not want to remind anyone of what bad times or experiences by any means. I hope that I add something to the board and posts, but do not want to be a pest by any means.

Love having birth mothers here, the information that they provide is very valuable to me and I am sure to others as well.

I am so glad that Hershey asked this question, as I wonder the same thing. Sometimes I feel like our presence is perhaps impeding the rest of you from saying something on your mind or feeling like you can't quite fully express yourself (although I know you are a strong bunch, and would preface it appropriately!!). I think that us BMoms who are here understand that every situation is different, and that there ARE some BMoms out there who are messed up - and complaining about them is warranted.

On the above note....I think this would be the ONLY issue but its not really an issue bc you just said yourself, that some birthmoms out there are messed up. So as long as we all know this, I think someone that is struggling with a bad BM situation can still come here and be open about her problem without offending a BM that is on the board. Know what I mean? I think as long as ALL of us have open minds we (being BM and AM's) can all be happy hehe!!!

i love that you are all here. For me, it is important and good for me to hear your perspective on things, especially since things don't always go smoothly.
