Again . . . so two weeks ago I faxed my official request to have my OBGYN records faxed to the RE. I called the OBGYN and asked exactly what to do and let them know the request was on its way. So, you guessed it, my records haven't shown up at the RE and the OBGYN has lost my request and no one knows anything about it. GRRRR . . .
This is the same practice where the nurse told me it was OK to come in for the CD3 testing immediately following my CP, but was wrong. The doctor (finally) delivered my results saying that I shouldn't have had the test then: "Sorry you were told to come in, that wouldn't have been my advice."
Also, the same practice where they 'forgot' to run one of my blood tests, even though it was written on the doctor's orders. (Apparently, I've just got time and blood to spare, running back and forth for tests!) I know exactly what happened. The nurse came and got me and took me to the lab without the doctor's orders. Instead of going to get them, she asked me what tests I was supposed to get and wrote the request by hand and left off one of the tests I told her about!
I think I will get a different recommendation for an OBGYN from my RE, if I ever get pregnant!! This practice might have a slip up and not show at the hospital for the birth!
Re: OB GYN Vent
Geez. Yeah, definitely get a new recommendation. Maybe some friends who have had babies could help you out?
As I'm sure you've noticed, I'm now stalking this board, despite not being exactly "qualified," since I found out you're on here. I can't wait for your BFP! And even better if we end up pregnant together!
Double..in my opinion...no "qualifications" exist for this board..post any time..Everyone needs all the info they can get and the emotional support helps too..
Glad you are here I think you'll fit in here better than the 'other' boards, anyway! And we allow you young kids in here too!
I recognize you from GP. How old are you may I ask (just out of curiousity!)
31 Fran is one of my closest friends... it occurred to me last week that there was a good chance she was secretly trying to GP too (we both have husbands who don't want us to tell anyone), so I asked her if she was on here bc she was big into The Knot before her wedding.
Young'un. Kidding. Welcome to +35!
I would definitely find a new OBGYN--there have got to be a lot better practices in Atlanta than where you are currently at.
