So, the big u/s is Thursday morning, and, pending cooperation, we plan to find out the gender. My parents are coming to town on Thursday afternoon and visiting for a few days. Does anyone have any fun ideas on how to announce the gender to them? Thanks!

I think it's neat to have a layer cake frosted white or green on the outside, but frosted pink or blue on the inside, so that when you cut into it, you know boy or girl.

get a BIG box- and some inflated balloons (Gender specific color- write one letter per balloon to spell out "it's a..." or get a few that just say "It's a ...." on them.)
place them in the box (short or no strings) and wrap it like a gift. (Place the card telling them the good news inside the box I forgot!)
then let them open it up and prepare for some expressions!
I wrapped a huge box and filled it with blue balloons and one that said "Its a Boy!" then I had my mom take the lid off the box and all the balloons burst to the ceiling for everyone to see.
I have seen people bake pink or blue cupcakes and frost them all white and have tin foil cupcake wrappers. So people had to bit into them to find out
